Well, my dear friends,
Another year has passed. And we are getting closer to an amazing day!
In a couple of weeks, the person, for whom we all are here, who has united so many people all around the world, will be celebrating his Birthday. Yes, I’m talking about our one and only Ian.
Once again I came across a plenty of Tweets saying "Ian, come to Italy”, "Ian, come to France”, "Ian, come to Brazil”, Russia, England, Germany and many other countries of the world.
And I came up with an idea. We all know that Ian loves to travel and, as I see it, if he had time and funds, he would immediately go off on a round-the-world trip. So, let’s arrange that for him.
Every one of us knows famous monuments, squares, places in different countries. The Brooklyn Bridge, Coliseum, the Eiffel Tower, Hermitage, the Kremlin, Stonehenge, Neuschwanstein Castle, Christ Redeemer Statue, the Liberty Statue, Big Ben and many others. But you can find it in any travel guide or see during any sightseeing tour when visiting a country. Every one of us lives in his\her city\country and knows some special place, which must be seen. But it’s not very popular. Maybe, it’s a lakeside, a quay, a beautiful street or a sculpture of some local old man. It’s a place where you feel great, place, that you would like to show Ian. Maybe, one day when he comes to your city, he’ll find that place and thank you for telling him about it.
And for now he’ll just get a lot of impressions about many spectacular and unknown places of our planet.
So, grab your cameras, maps and go ahead. It may be a short video showing this place(2 min maximum) or just photos, or you can just indicate this place on a map and write about it, why one should visit it in your city.
Turn on your imagination and let’s organize a round-the-world trip for Ian, not in 80 days, but in 30 minutes.
You have 2 weeks. The last day to send your stories is September 12, Thursday.
And don’t forget to write your name and details(username in Twitter and ect.) you can send all your stories at this address firstname.lastname@example.org and tweet about it to @ianhardingrus
